My Journey
From a childhood surrounded by rescue dogs to becoming a certified professional trainer
Professional Background
I began my dog training journey in early 2017 after earning my Master Dog Trainer certification from The National K9 School for Dog Trainers in Columbus, OH. Before transitioning to dog training, I spent several years caring for dogs in both my own home and the homes of their owners. My passion for strengthening the bond between humans and dogs led me to get my first dog, which sparked my path into professional training.
My Dogs
Dakota, my 9-year-old German Shepherd, has played a pivotal role in shaping my growth as a trainer. Her unique personality and challenges have continuously pushed me to expand my knowledge and refine my skills. She has been my constant source of inspiration, reminding me every day of the power of patience and understanding in building a trusting relationship with a dog.
Alongside her are Slater, my energetic 2-year-old Border Collie, and Skyler, my playful 1-year-old Husky. Each of them brings their own strengths and quirks, and together, they keep me learning and evolving as a trainer.

What drives my passion for dog training is the opportunity to help people build meaningful, joyful connections with their dogs. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing a dog and their owner flourish together, creating a bond based on trust, communication, and mutual respect.

Slater
Slater is my 2-year-old Border Collie with endless drive and a brilliant mind. He pushed me into advanced trick training and helped me expand my skills as a trainer. With Slater, I've learned how to channel energy into focus, and how to keep training fun, fast-paced, and mentally enriching. He's why I now offer trick training, canine enrichment, and high-drive dog coaching.
Skyler
Skyler, my 1-year-old Husky, is independent, stubborn, and wildly smart. Training her forced me to slow down, listen more, and adapt. She's shown me the importance of working with — not against — a dog's natural instincts. Now, I help others tackle stubborn breed behavior using positive reinforcement and breed-aware strategies that build real connection.
